The Filipino Industrial Engineer’s Vision

POSTER

What is your vision for our country?

On its 12th year, IEshikawa, an event hosted by the University of the Philippines Circle of Industrial Engineering Majors (UP CIEM), will provide this year’s most prestigious case studies, seminars, and workshops in the IE community. With the theme “Hiraya: Engineering the Backbone of the Nation,” it aims to impart a deeper nationalistic understanding of the role of Industrial Engineers as innovators for positive change and progress in the government.

With two new segments added to this year’s lineup of events — Sinag, a tour which will be held in different high schools around Luzon featuring activity booths and short talks by IE professionals, and IExhibit: Project Fair, an exposition where IE students from all over the country will be able to showcase their studies on Ergonomics, Production Systems and Methods Engineering — it’s sure to be the grandest IEshikawa yet.

IEshikawa 12 will be held on 17-18 November 2017, at the College of Engineering and UP Film Institute, UP Diliman.

A nation built on efficiency and effectiveness.

This is the vision of the Filipino Industrial Engineer. This is our hiraya.
