You know that feeling you get after watching a Fast & Furious movie? That rush that makes you want to go fast AND be furious? If you’re like me who grew up watching the Fast & Furious movies, then you know what I’m talking about.

The eighth movie in the franchise is within our reach with its premiere on April 15, but for those of you who can’t wait, you can head on over to Uptown Mall at BGC and take a ride with Vin Diesel. No, seriously!! Here’s your chance to star in your own stunt straight out of the movie. All you need to do is get one of their Fast & Furious merch, but really, it’s a win-win situation guys. They have special Hot Wheels of the actual car models used in the movies! The Nissan Skyline GT-R used by Brian in 2Fast 2Furious is a personal fave of mine, and it’s a cool souvenir from your experience aside from the awesome movie trailer starring you.
First important tip is: Don’t wear green. (duh) Second is: you have to be 17 or older to get the experience. I’m sure even Dominic Toretto has to be careful; how else can he still be alive after flying a car from one building to the other? Another safety precaution is having to wear goggles. You’ll be getting two strong blowers (believe me it’s strong; just watch my friend’s face in the vid) to your face so it’s necessary. Then again it also makes you look all the more legit so it’s great. The staff will guide you in what you have to do like looking to your right as if you’re talking to Dom, then looking straight ahead with the blowers in your face, so make sure to hold on to the wheel! It all feels very cool and exhilarating but, sadly, just as fast as Brian and Dom at a quarter mile, the experience is over in 5 seconds. They send you your post-prod video and you can post it on Facebook, Snapchat, or even YouTube! Now you can brag to your friends about your racing skills.
This experience definitely pumped me up for the movie even if it seems like in the next movie Fate of the Furious, Dom has gone over to the dark side. None of the previous trailers give a clue on why Dom is going against the team, but my money’s on him being blackmailed or mentally controlled by that high-tech terrorist woman. Just watching the teasers gave me a major adrenaline rush as it seems like the cars and the action keep getting bigger and better with every movie. Though I have to say nothing beats the OG team racing each other for fun, or sometimes a million dollars. Riding with Vin Diesel, even just through green screen tech really got me excited to watch the movie. I’m sure you are too but we all have to wait just a tiny bit longer until the 15th and in the meantime, you can get your fix of cars, action, and speed with the Fast & Furious #F8Face Experience!
