The Art of Living Foundation is a non-profit educational, charitable and humanitarian organization holding special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. It is one of the world’s largest volunteer based Non-Governmental Organization with chapters in over 145 countries. More than 100 million people worldwide have participated in The Art of Living workshops.”

“Since the Philippines chapter started in 2005, 7,000 people have taken its various programs – from rehabilitation programs for inmates at Bilibid Prison, to trauma-relief efforts following typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng with the Philippine Red Cross. Companies such as Shangri-La, Copylandia, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Alveo have also incorporated it into their human resources in the Philippines.”

Last March 26, 2012, The Art of Living Foundation, together with EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, held a benefit concert for the victims of typhoon Sendong. The proceeds will be used for Trauma-Relief Workshops in Cagayan De Oro.

Aside from the super fun concert by Wayne Yeh and Lissa De Guia, The Art of Living Foundation also hosted a silent auction of contemporary arts by Kidlat De Guia, Oliver Olivete, Gus Albor, Marisa Romero, Stephanie Lopez, Tosha Albor, Felix, Bacolor, Kabunyan De Guia and Wesley Valenzuela.
