TEDxADMU is an independently organized TED event that serves as a platform for movers and shakers of society to come together and inspire thought-provoking ideas within the Philippine community. Happening this March 12, 2017 in the Newport Performing Arts Theater, TEDxADMU brings to you its fifth installment, Viewpoints.
The event will feature various speakers, each renowned in their different fields, who will surely unleash new ideas, inspire, and inform every audience member. TEDxADMU 2017: Viewpoints roots itself in this quote from Friedrich Nietzsche, “There are no facts, only interpretations.” Individuals inherently create interpretations, from interpretations stem unique perspectives. In a world filled with individuals of vastly different cultures and beliefs, contrasting views on certain things are inevitable. Individuals see things from where they stand, but this perspective then limits our field of vision — blurring the lines between what we see and what is.
In our fifth annual TEDxADMU, we invite everyone to broaden our horizons and see things through different Viewpoints.
