On Sunday, the all-Filipino team TNC (the net.com) Pro Team just won big money at the DoTA (Defense of The Ancients) 2 tournament in the World Electronics Sports Games 2016 held in China.
The team won $800,000 (approx. P40 million) as they came on top of the tournament.
They beat Danish team Cloud 9.
Aside from the money, the team earned recognition even from political figures. Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Bam Aquino both congratulated them.
TNC is composed of Ryo Hasegawa, 24; Samson Solomon Enojosa Hidalgo, 22; Carlo Palad, 20; Timothy John Radrup, 19; and Marc Polo Luis Faust, 18.
