Let’s get to the point here. The samgyupsal craze is not going anywhere soon. Different Korean places pop out of nowhere basically in all corners of Metro Manila. There’s just too many out there that you don’t know where to go anymore.
To be honest, I prefer those sit-down ala carte Korean dishes than the unlimited ones because I prefer quality over quantity. I’ve experienced eating at some unimpressive Korean BBQ places, so I’d rather just pay for something that serves quality dishes than spend a few hundred bucks in some restaurant serving unlimited cheap meat and poor service.
Good thing though, I found this Korean BBQ house from California that changed my perspective when it comes to unlimited food.
When I learned that Gen Korean BBQ House serves unlimited offerings of U.S. Premium Meats, who was I to pass on that? I knew I had to try. So I went.
Upon trying out their dishes, the first thing that I noticed is how good their meats are. Their meat cuts are really of high-quality, fresh and, most importantly, flavorful. You hardly even have dip it in any sauce as it already tastes great as it is.
What caught my attention (and tastebuds) most, however, is Gen Korean BBQ House’s U.S. Premium Steaks. It has this tenderness and flavor that’s hard to compare with any other meat I’ve tried in other unli Korean BBQ restaurants.
I love how juicy it got when we grilled it. I paired it up with their cheese fondue and the taste just further burst in my mouth. It was heaven in every bite.
And of course, I had to get a glass of wine, too. Because what’s more perfect than a steak and wine tandem? And get this: Gen Korean BBQ also serves unlimited wine for their guests.
What more can you ask for right? To be honest, I could make up a random celebration just to have a reason to go back to this place. But with delicious, quality, and unlimited U.S. Premium Meats like Gen Korean BBQ’s, who needs more reason to go than just to satisfy your KBBQ craving? That’s the perfect reason, I’d say!
