Tapeo is a traditional and casual tapas bar at the Fort Strip that offers a wide selection of Spanish dishes, wines and other drinks similar to those small and local tapas bar in Spain. This is the perfect place to taste, experience and enjoy authentic Spanish tapas in a relaxed atmosphere – no fuss, simple and fun.

  

 Take your pick. Choose your tapas in Tapeo “turo-turo” style, just like how they do it in Spain 🙂

 

For as low as Php 400, you may indulge in TAPEO‘s UNLIMITED TAPAS from 2pm – 9pm every Monday-Saturday. That is one awesome deal, agree?! Also, Tapeo offers extended happy hours every Monday – Friday from 2pm – 7pm. Be there to  enjoy half-priced Margaritas, BEST mojitos, Chiquita, etc. 

 

 A platter of Montados: Callos, Lengue and Stewed Beans. OMG! These are to die for! So good!

 

Different croquetas served with aioli sauce. Manchego with Paprika for the win!!!

 

A small plate of flavorful paella (small plate = more room for other Spanish dishes)

 

FYI: Tapeo serves one of the best mojitos in Metro Manila.

 

If you don’t feel like getting the unli-tapas, Tapeo has more items in the menu worth ordering and sharing among the group. The raciones (plateful of food) are perfect for long evenings over a carafe of sangria.

 

 Sizzling Gambas – prawns sauteed in olive oil, garlic, wine and spices. Served with crusty bread.

 

Albondigas: Fried Spiced Meatballs cooked in a rich tomato sauce, served with fried chunky potatoes and crusty bread.

 

CHAMPIGNONES: Fresh button mushrooms sauteed with fried chorizo in olive oil, garlic and red wine, served with crusty bread.

This  is a CHAMPION for all of us. It was gone in seconds — that’s how good it is.

 

CERDO AL HORNO: Crispy Pork Belly

TAPEO’s MUST TRY.

If there is only one dish that you can try at Tapeo, this is the one!

Spiced pork belly, slow roasted for 3-4 hours with crisp crackling skin and the softest meat that melts in your mouth. Moreover, it is served with the most delicious Spanish stewed beans and saffron rice.

One order will never be enough!

 

 

For DESSERT, we had the CHURROS CON CHOCOLATE:

What makes this different from other churros con chocolate? The dip is made from Spanish tablea with orange zest.

 

 

TIP: Once you’re done with your sangria, you may ask the staff to put the fruits on a plate. After all, it is believed that having fruits for dessert is considered healthy :p
