Sasa’s bestseller, the Fried Yatai Itame, is his take on an Asian inspired pizza of sorts, with fried lumpia wrapper as the base and a smorgasbord of veggies smothered in kewpie and their own special sauce. Trust me, this alone is worth the trip to Sasa! With playful takes on dishes like Lechon sisig, flavorful bao’s, and peking duck, you could totally imagine yourself traveling across the Orient.

For this season only, Chef Raymar Reyes has masterfully designed a special summer menu for Sasa Asian Cuisine. From obvious offerings like their own unique take on the Halo-Halo, to more unlikely options such as their tamarind cooler with sago, these are sure to take your mind off the blazing Manila sun. Watching your waiter arrive at your table with a platter of these choices definitely feels the same as sipping an icy drink by the beach (or better).
