The biggest international and homegrown indie acts are set to accomplish one important mission: to power up the best Wanderland stage yet.

Fulfilling their promise to play in the Philippine terrain, indie folk rock band Kodaline jumpstarts the line-up as this year’s co-headliner with poignant hits “All I Want” and “Brother” as the band makes Wanderers feel like it’s a “Perfect World.” Making the perfect combo is Grammy-nominated Jhené Aiko as the co-headliner for the Wanderland stage. Bask in the “Eternal Sunshine” of her sultry voice while she sings her hits “While We’re Young,” “Bed Peace,” and “The Worsty.”

Starting his new adventure on the Wanderland stage is French multi-instrumentalist, singer, and musician FKJ, bringing along infectious beats and electronic sounds that will make Wanderers groove to every song. Also joining the stage are Wanderland players from the land down under. They are all set to bring their game on with their internet hit “Shooting Stars” and other groove-worthy tracks for a night of night of dancing. Wanderers, get ready to “Checkmate” with Bag Raiders.

Another artist we are “Blessed” to have is Canadian R&B and soul singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar, soon to swoon us off our feet with soulful hits “Best Part” and “Get You.” American indie-pop musician Lauv is set to “Come Back Home” to his Filipino fans to deliver a performance like no “Other,” equipped with romantics lyric layered over electronic synth tunes.

Hailing from our own zone are the cool kids of the local music scene, IV of Spades. This retro-loving bunch will bring fresh tunes that will leave a feeling of nostalgia distinct in their songs “Hey Barbara” and “Where Have You Been, My Disco?.” The next player that will transport us to a dreamy state with an indie-folk pop mix that “Leaves” the crowd singing along to each song is none other than newcomers Ben&Ben. True to their word, this modern electronic local band “aims to give listeners a head-bobbing experience” with their one-of-a-kind sound, and the Wanderland community is all set to experience “Some Kind of Magic” that is Asch.

Bringing old school rhythm and blues to the Pixels stage is Wanderland favorite, Jess Connelly. With an upcoming EP, JCON Mixtape and two tracks released from last year, this icon (slash) artist is a force to be reckoned with. Joining in the adventure is award-winning, local rapper and songwriter Quest, best known for his hopeless romantic hit “Walang Hanggan” and Gilas basketball theme song, “Sige Lang.”

Launching this year are Wanderland rookies Basically Saturday Night and Carousel Casualties. It’s a “Chemical Love” between the crowd and Basically Saturday Night whenever they perform, and Wanderers will be no exceptions as our Wanderband 2018 artists attack the stage with their upbeat tempo and deep vocals. Another Wanderband 2018 alumnae ready to join the game is none other than Carousel Casualties. This indie alternative quartet is best known for their Soundcloud hit “Safety” and Black Mirror-inspired “San Junipero.”

A set of Wanderartist players fresh from the Wanderbattle is all up for the challenge to achieve this year’s mission with their live art performances and installations: Christian Cardenas, Sam Bumanlag, JP Pining, and Humbly.
