LOOK: Rizal’s “Treasure Mountain” Could Be Your Barkada’s Next Hideaway

With the noise of the city, it’s easy to long for a place that’s peaceful, serene, and away from all the stresses of the world. But it’s not that easy to get away from it all if you’ve got to make a living. Long weekends may get you a chance, but with everybody else wanting to travel, it’s bound to be a hassle. The solution? Find a spot that’s not too far away from the city.

Here’s our suggestion: check out Treasure Mountain at Tanay, Rizal–just about an hour away from the Metro.

Netizen Ginger Gaddi shared her experience at the majestic Treasure Mountain on Facebook and shares tips on how to get there, what to bring, and what to prepare for such a trip. Her post has since been shared more than 26,000 times!

Her photos of the beautiful mountains topped with cottony clouds were enough to convince us to make the trip ASAP!

It looks like the perfect place to relax, reflect, and really just enjoy the peace and quiet.

There are tents that can be rented at PHP 500-800 so that you wouldn’t have to go through the hassle of trying to look for a place to sit. It’s perfect for long hours of just chilling with your friends.

You can bring your own food, but a small eatery also offers meals when you get hungry.

This spot requires no hiking! So, it’s perfect for spontaneous getaways and chill family outings. Entrance fee starts at PHP 150, but children below 6 years old are free.
