For the past year, Tatak Botante, a student-initiated voter education campaign, has spearheaded series of events with the goal of mainstreaming the call for active and responsible citizen participation in voter education and in the upcoming elections. To further push the campaign, on May 5, 2013 a fun run entitled “TATAKBOtante: Takbo para sa Matalino, Matalas at Malayang Boto” will be held at the UP Academic Oval, UP Diliman.
TATAKBOtante 2013 aims to encourage everyone to exercise their right to suffrage on the May 13, 2013 Midterm Elections. This initiative is brought to us by Tatak Botante, UPD University Student Council and UP Advertising core.
