Sweet Tooth: Spoiled! Thanks to Sweet Bite by Bianca
Who doesn’t have a sweet tooth?
Whether as a standalone snack or as merienda, sweets and pastries have been a staple for Filipinos. When In Manila and always online, it’s a must to try some online shops that make deliciously sweet snacks to satiate that sweet tooth.
I got a chance to chat with Sweet Bite owner Bianca who admitted that it was actually an accident, this sweets making business of hers. She loved baking cookies and cupcakes for her officemates and one of them asked her to make giveaways for a wedding, The rest was history! Aside from her baking business, Bianca also has a full-time job right now (talk about being a power Pinay!), but is planning to take her business to a whole new level by doing it full-time.
Bianca sent us a sampler box to satiate our sweet tooth. It was filled with red velvet crinkles with cream cheese filling, Revel Bars, Chocolate Chip Cookies and Brownies, all of which are perfect for gift packages or for people who want to try different variations.
I personally love red velvet pastries and sweets, which is why I munched on this little treat as soon as I opened the box and finished taking photos. The crinkles are very sweet and moist and the cream cheese balances out the flavour really well.
I was never a big fan of revel bars, but Sweet Bite’s Revel Bars are really good, especially if you pair them with a nice cup of coffee. It is very sweet and tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
The chocolate chip cookies are perfect for snacking and because they are bite-sized, you can also eat them on-the-go or while working.
Sweet Bite brownies have the best texture. The outside is crisp and the inside is very chewy and sweet.
Aside from the care box, Sweet Bite also sent some of their special items on the menu.
This is one of the heaviest cupcake I have ever had. I didn’t know what kind of cupcake it was, but when I started to bite into it, there was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth of chocolate, oreo and peanut butter (all of my favorite stuff in one!). It was an Oreo Peanut Butter Cupcake.
Also new on the Sweet Bite Menu is the Blueberry Cheesecake Cups. I’ve had a variety of cheesecakes in my life and I must say that this one is really good. The cake itself is sweet and has a marshmallow-ish consistency topped off with a generous amount of blueberries.
I have never tried ordering sweets and pastries online before, but Sweet Bite by Bianca is definitely a must-try for everyone with a sweet tooth.
