Southwoods Mall Celebrates its Month-long Opening with Ely Buendia, KZ Tandingan, Kiddie Shows and More

 

ATTENTION people in the south metro!!! 

Head over to Southwoods City on September 30 for the grand opening of Southwoods Mall – Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ 14th lifestyle development at the heart of Southwoods City.

From today’s hottest OPM stars to kiddie shows and family-friendly events, Southwoods Mall is going all out to treat mall goers who will visit this brand new three-level lifestyle destination located at boundaries of Carmona, Cavite and Binan, Laguna, and lies along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX).  

Headlining Southwoods Mall’s Grand Opening celebration on Sept. 30 nonetheless that Filipino rock icon, Ely Buendia, who will be joined by popular bands such as Sud, and Silent Sanctuary. The grand opening event culminates with a grand fireworks show and release of giant air balloons to commemorate the mall’s official launch.

Here’s a list of musical acts for their month-long celebration this October.

Oct. 1 – Gracenote and Mayonaise

Oct.7 – Harana Boys mall show 

Oct.8 – Klarisse Guzman from The Voice Season 1, and I Love OPM Season 1 Champion Yohan Hwang

Oct. 14 – KZ Tandingan, pop rock band Hulyo and indie act Ben & Ben. 

Oct. 15 – Gimme 5 (all boy group)

Oct. 21 – Jensen and the Flips, Kjwan, and Hale

 

 

But wait, there’s more! 

Kids and their families are also set for more thrills this month of October with a series of kid and family-friendly events featuring character meet and greets, fun games, workshops and more. 

From Oct. 16 to 29, kids can go on a fun adventure at Barbie Dreamtopia, a kiddie showcase featuring Barbie inspired activities from the hit Barbie Dreamtopia series. The event features fun activity booths and promos and discounts on Dreamtopia Merchandise.

Other characters from popular children’s movies and TV shows are also set to appear at Southwoods Mall on its inaugural month. On October 15, the Minions and supervillain Gru will make an appearance followed by a meet and greet session.

On October 21, kids can also delight in fun games and activities and chance to meet and greet Alvin and the Chipmunks. Southwoods Mall is also bringing the characters from Dreamworks animated film Madagascar to delight children on October 28.
