NEW YEAR, NEW YOU: 5 Challenges You Can Do In 3 Weeks

At the start of the new year, I’m sure a lot of us have our own new year’s resolutions and goals to reach by the end of the year. Of course, we all aim to be a better version of ourselves, and the beginning of a new year allows us a clean slate to achieve just that. There is a lot of things we could do for that “new year, new me” concept that we’re aiming for, but it’s not at all easy without the right push and guides that could help us towards our goal.

Fortunately, 21-day challenges are super trendy these days and we’ve gathered 5 challenges you can easily do in just three weeks! There’s something for a different aspect of life–from skills, creativity, and even your mental health.

Check them out:

5. The No Junk Food Challenge

This one’s a pretty usual health challenge, but still quite difficult for someone who’s used to eating not-healthy food. The rule of this challenge is that you can’t eat candies, chocolates, cakes, chips, ice cream, white bread, fast food, nor drink soda for 21 days.

It could do wonders for your body’s health; and once you see the results, you’ll be glad to cut off junk food from your diet.

4. The Reading Challenge

One of my goals this year is to actually read the books I’ve been getting the past years but haven’t gotten around to opening them. With the fast-paced life we have, it’s pretty easy to forget about reading. But here’s the 21-day challenge that could probably help with that.

For three weeks, the rule is to always have a book around with you at all times and to spend at least 15 minutes each day reading. You’d be surprised at how reading for 15 minutes could easily turn into an hour once you get started. You can even change the rules of this challenge to accommodate the reading list you’ve been wanting to finish for years!

3. The Photography Challenge

With Instagram feeds and social media accounts to take care of, it’s easy to run out of ideas for our daily “photo of the day” posts. This photography challenge can help with that.

For 21 days, there are 21 items or themes that you should take a photo of.

Not only will it give you a breathtaking feed, but it can also hone your photography skills and let you save memories of each day!

2. The Journaling Challenge

Another way to save daily memories to make future reminiscing a lot easier is through keeping a journal. If 2018 is the year that you finally begin journaling, this 3-week challenge will be helpful with this new start.

Each day will have one topic that you must write about in your journal. It helps if you’re scared of not having anything to write about! Believe me, journaling is one of the best ways to process your thoughts and emotions and to look back at your breakthroughs and learnings through the year.

1. The Self-Care Challenge

Life can be super stressful sometimes. And with the fast-paced life we have, it’s easy to forget about taking care of ourselves. We all have to remember that it’s okay to put ourselves first, because only then can we take care of others.

So, this 21-day self-care challenge can help all of us take care of ourselves first. The results can do wonders for your health–physically, emotionally, and mentally! If there’s any challenge you should try from this list ASAP, this would be the one I’d definitely recommend.
