Paris Hilton in Manila: Azure Press conference

 

 

 

When In Manila… Paris Hilton definitely takes everything in the city by storm!

I got the chance to attend the press conference of Paris Hilton here in Manila a few days ago in the Manila Peninsula hotel. She was in Manila for a total of 5 days, very busy but really, she redefined the busy in business. Famous for her partying lifestyle and celebrity status it surprised me that she didn’t visit any night clubs here in Manila. A mature and down to business Paris greeted us. It was very professional how early she arrived at the hotel but she did took long in powdering her already proper nose!

Here she is beside Century Properties Managing Director Robbie R. Antonio who she met up earlier this year in the United States for the project collaboration with the leading real estate firm. Paris is designing the Beach Clubhouse of Century Properties’ 6-hectare, 9-building residential property in Parañaque City, Manila, Philippines called Azure Urban Resort Residences.

You may wonder, WHY PARIS HILTON? Well, besides the fact that she hails from one of the most prominent REAL ESTATE families in the world. She embodies the “Malibu Barbie” vibe. She loves traveling to the most gorgeous beaches in the world from where she’d get most of her inspiration while designing the Azure Urban resort residences.

 

 

A total of five buildings rising within the six-hectare property in Parañaque City: Rio, Santorini, St. Tropez, Positano and Miami, which are all named after the world’s most famous beach destinations. Azure’s masterplan has a total of 9 proposed residential buildings and an expansive man-made beach at the center.  

 

The Azure Beach Clubhouse will house such amenities as a movie/THX room, restaurant, children’s play area, gym and massage and spa facilities.

 

As your official correspondent inside the Press conference, which was a totally fun experience considering I was so starstruck by her, here’s how the evening went:

 

 

 

 

Here she is standing tall as she entered the room with Century Properties Managing Director Robbie R. Antonio and Mr. John Victor Antonio, Century Properties Chief Operating Officer and Azure Project Head.

 

 

 

They explained how the deal came about. Mr. John Victor Antonio is actually a family friend of the Hiltons and they’ve met numerous times in different places all over the world. When he mentioned a possible team up, Paris said she was very excited. She treats John Victor as a brother and even calls him that. 

 

They showed a short AVP on Paris’ journey through the media frenzy in Manila and her stops. From business meetings to photoshoots (w/ Raymund Isaac) and commercial shoots for Azure.

She finally met her fan, Isha who has been following her for 10 years! Paris really tries to take the time to read her messages, tweets from all her fans all over the world and sometimes even reply! Like how she did with Isha. She said she recognized her from the crowd and it really warmed my heart how she looked at the girl.

Also, she signed and took photos with her fans from Facebook who won a meet & greet with her! I bet those girls were so thrilled! She was really so sweet 🙂
