Yup, you read the title right.
Nope, I’m not talking about the award-winning musical, CATS.
There’s actually an album of music specially made for cats.
The composer, David Teie, created this “authentic music for cats” to help calm kitties. ‘Music for Cats’ is made out of the combination of chirping birds, purring vibrations and feeding noises. These sounds comfort cats as they have been exposed to them since infancy.
David also added the light sound of cello in order to make it more relaxing for cats, and for humans to be able to appreciate the music, as well.
You may purchase the full track here. A portion of the proceeds will go to animal shelters and to the Paw Project. You won’t only pamper your cat, you’ll also be helping other furry friends in need.
Not a cat parent?
No worries, David is currently working at an album for other animals, such as dogs and horses. So, you’ll be able to tune in your paw babies on some soothing music soon.
