Rock band Queen calls this Pinoy Street Dance group ‘amazing’ after seeing their tribute

The La Salle Dance Company (LSDC) recently won back their title as UAAP’s Street Dance Competition champion. This is the fourth time they were able to capture the championship and they did so with a Queen-inspired routine. The cherry on top of this all? Famous rock band Queen actually saw the routine and commended them for it!

LSDC’s captain, Diego Aviles, shared with ABS-CBN that they used their loss the previous year as motivation for their number and win this year:

Naging motivation namin (yung nangyari last year) para mas makahanap kami ng bagong gawin to get the championship back. Naging inspiration namin ‘yung mga seniors na ga-graduate na and naging motivation siya para mas lalo kaming makaisip ng bagong elements na di pa nagagawa, something fresh.

[Last year’s loss became our motivation to find a way to get the championship back. Our seniors who are graduating also became our inspiration as well as our motivation to think of new elements that haven’t been done before, something fresh.]
