L.P.G (SUD, Jensen & The Flips, and Miles Experience) to Play at COAL

7 x 4

IMPERIUM MANILA is proud to present three of the up and rising independent bands, Miles Experience, Jensen & the Flips and SUD (otherwise known as the L.P.G.). They are set to play their latest hits and more in a mini-concert on November 24, 2017 at 7 PM. The concert will be held at COAL, Scout Borromeo, Tomas Morato. Tickets are at Php 350 and will available for walk-in purchases or advance reservations via the Imperium Manila Facebook Page.

Jensen and The Flips was formed on November 9, 2013. Each band member contributes to their unique style in song making by having a mixture of influences from different genres. Diverse, yet still on track with their individual genres, be it Soul, Motown, or R&B, Jensen and the Flips is a powerful live act driven to leave people in awe after each and every performance. With Jensen’s sexual lyrics and melody, Mel and Sam’s sexy guitar riffs combined with Choi’s groovy bass lines, Jesser’s soulful piano skills and the perfectly in sync duo of Fitz and Carlo with their rhythm and beats, this band is sure to give justice to the Sound of Soul Music.

A Filipino rock band formed within the halls of The University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music in the year 2011, Miles Experience is made up of five members: Miles Bondoc on vocals and guitar, Tim Dadivas on drums, Ian Diaz on bass, Justin Teano on guitar and Guido Hizon on Keyboard. With their newly revamped sound and image, the band’s goal is to incorporate uniqueness and elements barely heard of in the local music scene – something they felt was their own. This passion for creating ‘eargasmic’ music lead to their song ‘Anggulo’ being chosen as the main theme song for the Philippine Broadcast of British-German fantasy teen drama television series, Wolfblood.

With indie rock/jazz fusion as their influences, SUD composed of Sud Ballecer on vocals and guitar, Jimbo Cuenco on drums, Carlos deal Fuente on saxophone, Kohl Aguilar on keyboard and Raise Racelis on bass is an alternative band formed in the year 2012 with a daring and unconventional style in song making. It was just recently (2017) that their single, the only one of their songs they’ve classified as a Tagalog love ballad, caught fire after being played during an emotional moment of an episode in Pinoy Big Brother. Their song has now been considered iconic by many, being played on different radio stations and even repetitively in many of the Music Sharing platforms.

To top it all of, these bands will be joined by Spotify Singing Bae Grand Winner, Mavi Lozano, a singer-songwriter with influences ranging from funky blues to soul jazz. The songs he has written that have lyrics and melodies that reach deep with a soulful expression of his passion matched with his good-looks are sure to take a special place in the hearts of his audiences.

Joining the Prime Time bands of the event are The Switched Band and P.et.al, a band of young musicians aiming to make it big like their idols (L.P.G) as they take their first step in pursuing their passion in the Music Industry.
