This summer, where can you possibly beat the heat AND unleash your inner Picasso?

When in Manila, look no further than the Ayala Museum in Makati City. Starting April 8, 2017, they will be offering this year’s edition of the popular Art Room Workshops, intensive introductory classes on how to use various art mediums held on three consecutive Saturdays. Limited slots are open for Basic Drawing with Abe Orobia (April 8, 22, 29), Basic Watercolor with Eileen Escueta (April 8, 22, 29), Basic Acrylic Painting with Benedict Reyna (May 6, 13, 20), and Basic Oil Painting with Rommel Joson (May 6, 13, 20).

What also sets the experience apart from other workshops is how the sessions are held just outside of Ayala Museum’s fine arts galleries, which participants will automatically have access to as they sign up for the classes. The sessions will also allow some time for discussion of the techniques demonstrated in the works of Filipino maestros Juan Luna, Fernando Zobel, and Fernando Amorsolo that are part of the Ayala Museum collection.

The workshop fee is Php 6,750 including materials, certificate, and access to Ayala Museum. Interested participants can reserve a slot by paying 30% of the fee (Php 2,025) at least a week before the first day of their class.

And as the official media partner of Ayala Museum’s Art Room Workshops, here’s a sweet deal exclusively for our readers! Just show any proof—a printout or a screenshot—that you read about the Art Room workshops through WhenInManila.com or our social media channels as you present it in Ayala Museum when you register and pay the Ayala Museum Member Rate (Php 6,075) only!
