Kicking off the Academy ‘curriculum’ was a Make-Up and Portrait Photography Class by Nova ambassador and YouTube vlogger Raiza Contawi. It was as far from being a normal classroom as one can imagine, as participants learned how to enhance both their make-up and selfie games in a single session. These ladies learned how to whip up runway-ready looks, complemented by studio-style photography tips courtesy of Raiza’s hands-on tutorials. Not a bad way to spend a nice summer day, eh?

Keeping the Nova Academy’s momentum was the Landscape Photography Class by Johan Aguilar. As a travel blogger/photographer, Johan was thrilled to share a chunk of tips and tricks in achieving a cover-worthy landscape shot using nothing but a Huawei Nova phone. He provided a quick but informative crash course on improving your vacation adventure shots.
