Grind & Co. Serves Simple Yet Delicious Burgers, Nachos and Wings. MUST TRY their LOUIS’ LUNCH!
When in Manila, specifically in Quezon City and craving for delicious unpretentious yet affordable food, I highly recommend you try this new place I discovered during my most recent visit with my friends in Scout Area in Quezon City – Grind and Co.
One lazy weekend afternoon, while my friends and I were scouting for a place to eat, we were lured to go inside and check out their menu for the ambiance seemed to be an ideal “tambayan.” Upon checking their menu, we found their items to be very affordable so we ordered almost all of their best sellers.
If you plan on pigging-out with your buddies, then Grind & Co. would be your perfect place! Here are the MUST TRY ITEMS….
Ultimate Nachos (P120)
It’s basically nachos smothered with everything good! Lots and lots of cheese, beef, jalapenos, fresh salsa over crunchy corn tortillas!
Fully Loaded Wedges (P120)
These are so far the best potato wedges I’ve tasted! The photo says it all!
Next we tried 3 out of 5 kinds in their roster of wings…
As for our main event, here’s what you never should miss when you visit Grind & Co.
Louis Original (P99)
Inspired by the original hamburger sandwich maker Louis’ Lunch. I honestly never thought that the first burger would be this simple! I’m simply impressed because of all the burger joints around the metro, this is the only establishment who’s offering this.
FOOD TRIVIA:
The beginnings of the hamburger sandwich as we all know it today was really quite simple. One day in 1900, a gentleman hurriedly walked into Louis’ Lunch and told proprietor Louis Lassen he was in a rush and wanted something he could eat on the run.
In an instant, Louis placed his own blend of ground steak trimmings between two slices of toast and sent the gentleman on his way. And so, the most recognizable American sandwich was born.

Ordering their signature grinders are quite easy… Here at Grind & Co. you get to create your own!
First, you just have to decide on how many patties (single : P135 double: P180 triple: P225) you wanna consume then you may order your desired add-ons which are reasonably priced around P20-30 only!
At Grind & Co. expect juicy lean and flavorful beef patties partnered with a lightly toasted bun.
As for my personal recommendation: When I return, I’ll definitely order their Teriyaki wings, ultimate nachos/ wedges and Louis’ Lunch plus at least 2 bottles of imported beer!!
It really feels great to finally find a burger place which highlights the quality and flavor of their beef rather than smothering it with too much add-ons. At Grind & Co., taste is ace! Simple, downright delicious and affordable.
For an appreciation of simple delicious tasting burgers, visit Grind & Co. when in Manila!
