Greenhills Elan Hotel Modern: The First and Only Hotel in Greenhills

When in Manila and looking for a place for your weekend family bonding, we recommend you check out Greenhills Elan Hotel Modern located along Annapolis St in Greenhills. We miss Greenhills a lot, so we thought of staying here so we can also spend more time shopping with less the stress.

A few weeks ago, Frank and I wanted to take the kids on a weekend getaway since they were still on their summer break. We didn’t want to travel far so we browsed through agoda.com again to find an ideal place. Greenhills Elan turned out to be our best bet since it wasn’t too far from Quezon City and was very accessible to Greenhills shopping center. We figured it would be the perfect place since we also wanted to take the kids out for a stroll. All the while, I thought Greenhills Elan was only a condo so I was surprised upon knowing that it was part hotel and part residential.

We were lucky ‘coz our desired room was available that weekend! We opted for a bigger more spacious room fit for 4. We got to stay in one of their Presidential Suites with a really great view of the city. Check ’em out…..

I love everything about our suite that weekend! The aircons may be quite obsolete, but they were able to cool the whole unit during our entire stay. I got no complaints about it…..

My 1st impression was that, I thought this place looked so ideal for long staying guests or be made as a home

The room was very cozy with soft fluffy sheets. We had to request for an extra mattress though, since it didn’t fit 4 people.

our room was very spacious and even had a working desk so I was able to write some articles during that weekend.

the toilet and bath were also fully equipped with toiletries, towels, bathrobes and a working hair dryer! I love hotels with hair dryers!

Dinnertime came, so we all marched down to their cafe at the ground floor for dinner where we got to sample some of their best sellers…

the cafe may not be big but I think the ambiance was good and the surroundings were neat and clean

The Food: Honestly, we thought the food wasn’t that outstanding but it was pretty decent for the price. We believe the menu was quite promising and can definitely be improved in terms of taste and presentation since there are already a lot of other hotels of the same class which provide excellent cuisine. Here are some of the dishes which we liked.

What to do:

Aside from our room and accessibility to the shopping center, we, specially the kids enjoyed the hotel’s various amenities. Even if you just decide to stay in the hotel the entire time, you will never get bored!

And of course, no summer break will ever be complete without a long good dip in the pool. This, I believe was the highlight of the stay. We enjoyed hanging-out by the pool a lot and I remember spending hours here. We even got the chance to meet and talk with some of the friendly tenants. They said they enjoy living at Greenhills Elan as it’s very accessible to major landmarks and malls. This is really good to know.

Greenhills Elan Hotel Modern for us would be a place that’s very ideal for stress-free family bondings and quick getaways. Like I mentioned earlier, there is so much room for improvement. The rooms looked really nice and well maintained plus we also appreciated the amenities a lot, specially the pool at the roof deck. I honestly believe they should try to improve the food as well as their customer service in order to get more loyal patrons as I personally think people, especially families should experience how comfortable and convenient it is to stay at Greenhills Elan Hotel Modern.
