It’s been two years since Enrique Gil had an acting project. Now, after spending some time off, the 30-year-old actor is coming back to showbiz!
Enrique was spotted in a photo uploaded on Twitter by ABS-CBN Films head Kriz Gazmen who wrote: “So excited! Look who’s back! #ItsAboutDamnTime.”
The two were also with other ABS-CBN executives and the head of Star Magic, Lauren Dyogi. Enrique’s mother was also present at the meeting.

Enrique’s last project was the teleserye “Make It With You” in 2020 which was eventually canceled due to the ongoing public health crisis. The story was going to follow two individuals who, despite having different priorities in life, found love in each other. But after a series of encounters in Croatia, they will have to decide whether it’s a love worth choosing.

Enrique was supposed to star in the show with his longtime girlfriend, Liza Soberano. Over the last few months, the two have been the subject of breakup rumors which Liza has verbally denied. “Quen is fine. I was hoping someone will ask me about that. There are rumors about we are parting, but we’re fine, we’re totally fine,” Liza said in an interview with TV Patrol back in June. She further clarified that Enrique was supportive of her going to the US in the hopes of pursuing a Hollywood career after signing with James Reid’s Careless label.
The couple was also recently spotted holding hands while going to Belo Medical Clinic, as seen in celebrity doctor Hayden Kho’s Instagram video, which many fans were relieved by.
