El Gamma Penumbra Goes Straight to Asia’s Got Talent Semi-Finals

El Gamma Penumbra, a shadow-play group from the Philippines that initially gained popularity after joining “Pilipinas Got Talent”, wowed another set of judges, this time in Asia’s Got Talent.

The said group had an astounding performance that earned rave reviews from judges including 16-time Grammy winner David Foster, former Spice Girl Melanie C, Taiwanese pop star Vanness Wu, and Indonesian rock icon Anggun.

‘Foster said, “One of the beautiful things about sitting in this chair is I get to see things I would never see in my life. I have no idea how you did it. I have no idea how it works, but I know it was absolutely magical. Thank you for a beautiful experience.”

Meanwhile, Mel C. said, ” I got emotional after watching that. It’s mind blowing.”

Then, Wu said, ”I loved how you guys told the stories beautifully and it was just so wonderful to see live and up close. Thank you so much for that. Great job.”

Anggun began by saying, “There are many things that I like to say…”

Then the crowd began chanting in unison, “Push that gold! Push that gold!”

Anggun was impressed that she pressed the Golden Buzzer, which sends El Gamma Penumbra straight to Asia’s Got Talent semi-finals that will be held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
