American Idol runner-up and “Crush” hitmaker David Archuleta just turned 30 years old today!
The American singer posted a photo of himself holding up a simple red velvet cupcake topped with number candles showing his age on Twitter and thanked all his fans and friends for the warm birthday greetings.

Many of his fans all over the world couldn’t help but express awe and disbelief at the fact that he’s already 30 years old. At the time he won second place at the seventh season of American Idol and subsequently released his self-titled debut album, he was only 17 years old.
