The Operations Research Society of the Philippines-UST Chapter (ORSP-UST) is an organization that focuses on the field of Operations Research. Operations Research (OR) is a discipline that deals with the application of advanced analytical methods to help improve the quality of decisions about managing scarce and valuable resources. ORSP-UST is also an academic organization that is built to promote academic excellence towards the growth of the Engineering students of UST.
The ORSP-UST will hold its 3rd National Leadership Summit entitled “CONVERGENCE: Working Holistically on Leaders’ Emergence” to be held at Alfredo M. Velayo Hall and UST Grandstand, University of Santo Tomas on October 21, 2017 (Saturday) from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The ORSP-UST National Leadership Summit is a one-day assembly wherein members of ORSP student affiliates gather to establish a stronger network of expanding student leaders from different universities. This will be the succeeding event of the second leadership summit held last January 2017 and it will focus on the total wellness (physical, intellectual and mental) of the individuals to develop their ability to lead better.
