AMP’s Rites of Passage 2017 is Going to Be Out of This World

If you’re looking for a night of good music, look no further. Presenting some of the newest inductees into Manila’s collegiate music circuit, the Ateneo Musicians’ Pool (AMP) will be hosting Rites of Passage Vol II: Soloists’ Night on November 18. The event will be held at Sessions Bar & Resto, Don Antonio Drive Old Balara QC, from 7PM to midnight, with tickets costing P250 inclusive of a drink.

Every year, AMP welcomes its new musicians by having them perform in their first gig as members, an event that has come to be known as the flagship project Rites of Passage. The event on the 18th turns the stage over to the solo musicians, assembled into different groups.Rites of Passage Vol II: Soloists’ Night promises to be a night of memorable performances, showcasing the talents of its members as they blend their individual styles into dynamic sets.

In its 21 years as Ateneo’s premier music organization, AMP has produced bands as disparate as Never the Strangers, Spongecola, Chicosci, Imelda, and She’s Only Sixteen. Proud of this heritage and keen to perpetuate the legacy, AMP invites you all to witness the band’s newly-recruited talents. You might just witness the debut of the next big thing.
