Have you ever dreamt of flying? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to soar above the skies and take flight? Enchanted Kingdom hopes to give you a little glimpse of what that might feel like with their newest attraction: Agila.

It took more than 4 years to complete this attraction and now, it is finally here!

I first heard about this attraction during the media launch for their Ghostbusters attraction and ever since then, my friends and I have done nothing but talk about it and wonder what it would be like.

We were given a glimpse of what it would be like and it looked magical indeed – and from start to finish, too! Agila promises to be both fun and educational, and something that people of all ages are sure to love. This ride will take you on a magical flight around the Philippines, so you will feel like you are traveling all over the country… but all the while whilst in flight – just like an eagle!

From Batanes to Cagayan de Oro, you can “fly with Agila” over breathtaking beaches, swoop down raging rapids, and glide across incredible islands to marvel at magnificent panoramas and enjoy stunning aerial cinematography of 20 breathtaking locations all around the country from the extraordinary vantage point of the mighty Agila. It’s like traveling all over the Philippines!

Take note that Agila is the first and only flying theatre in the country, as well, so this is something that you won’t be able to experience anywhere else in the Philippines right now. It is also the largest single flying theater of its kind in the world.

Housed in an iconic 9-storey high, glass encased structure with a 2,000-square meter park footprint, Agila employs patented motion-theater technology to simulate the most life-like flight of an eagle, complete with sensations of wind, water, mist, scents and shakers that heighten the realism of flight and complete the magical EKsperience.

More than being a fun attraction at a theme park, though, Agila is also a fitting tribute to the country’s national symbol of strength, courage and resilience. The Great Philippine Eagle or Agila is the sole inspiration behind this towering attraction and I absolutely love EK’s commitment to build national pride through it.

EK’s Chairman and President Mario O. Mamon hopes that the project will become instrumental in instilling Filipino pride and love for country, and highlighting the importance of environmental conservation, particularly among the youth.

Agila is now open to the public. Go try it out. I promise it’s worth it!
