ABS-CBN and Kapamilya Stars’ Stand on Angel Locsin’s Community Pantry Incident

Media giant ABS-CBN just released a statement on Angel Locsin’s community pantry incident.

In celebration of her birthday last April 23, the actress sponsored a community pantry in Quezon City which caused chaos as people flocked. Both organizers and local government personnel reportedly had difficulty in controlling the crowd.

Unfortunately, a senior citizen lost consciousness while waiting in line to receive goods. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but the man reportedly passed away due to “natural causes.” Locsin has apologized for the incident both in her social media accounts and in interviews.

She wrote on Facebook:

Sa ngayon po, I will prioritize helping the family and I will make it my responsibility to help them get through this.
I am very very sorry.
