Class 3T2 – Third Year Travel Management students from the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management of the University of Santo Tomas is organizing an event as part of the requirement from their course, Meetings and Events Management. For almost 8 years of existence of the course, no event had ever attempted to distance its theme from the common. Class 3T2 then decided to get out of the box and bring forth to an event with an incomparable theme. Their event titled “SYNERGIA: Exploring Tourism Possibilities and Infinite Dimensions of the Future” will be discussing the opportunities, business ventures and advanced yet sustainable changes in the future tourism hospitality industry of the Philippines. Different speakers who are experts and professionals of the aforementioned topics will be devoting their time to educate the delegates who are mostly Travel Management students too. Also, there will be entertaining performances and thrilling activities that would liven up the crowd.
Moreover, the winners from the “Unravel the Unknown” photo contest will be announced in the event proper together with the most awaited “Unraveling of the Unknown” that will make the VIPs, parents and delegates present excited. The word UNKNOWN from the tagline represents our FUTURE as tourism practitioners; and it is the task of SYNERGIA to unravel this unknown. Lastly, the event was titled SYNERGIA for it is a Latin word for synergy that means working together of two or more persons to produce an outcome greater than the sum of their individual effects. Thus, Synergia symbolizes the combined workforces of Class 3T2 to provide the delegates an event that will take them on journey with no limits.
