Super Typhoon HAIYAN, with winds reaching 65 kph near the center, may reach the Philippines by Thursday or Friday. 

The Super Typhoon HAIYAN is still currently out of the Philippine area of responsibility and thus, weather reports are still unable to predict where exactly Super Typhoon Haiyan will make landfall. 

Nevertheless, officials are advising people in Bohol and Cebu to keep track of Super Typhoon Haiyan as many of them are still recovering from the earthquake not too long ago.  Stock up on basic needs in case of flooding and be prepared for anything.

UPDATE as of Nov 7, 2am:

Super Typhoon Haiyan (local name Yolanda) is said to potentially be a category 5 storm, with winds of 160mph! Reports say that evacuation and preparations should be taking place at the moment! 

Locally, Signal Number 4 will be raised in many areas.
