When In Nepal, waking up at 4am is definitely worth it here! You’ll need to find a tour guide or a van to take you up to Sarangkot Mountain or other high up places for the best views. We recommend contacting Himalayan Encounters Adventure Travel.

You can still see the moon on the other side of our mountain. Yup, it was that early in the morning!

This is really a MUST do and sunrise is really the best! It’s absolutely breathtaking to see the sun first hit the white tipped mountains and turn them into gold. It was so beautiful that you could hear a collective *sigh* from the people there as the sun slowly draped the Himalayas.

You can see the morning crowd of people and photographers setting up already for the best views and photos. Oh and that’s me getting ready to be amazed!

Then suddenly, the sun peeks through the clouds and turns the white shadowy mountains into gold!
