What I got was a box of 6 different types of desserts but if you want, you can order a box of just one type of dessert. Since these couture desserts are made to perfection and the demand is high, you’d need to place an order at least 5 days before the day you’d want them to be delivered.
Now, let’s fast- forward to the desserts, shall we?
What I like about the Muele de Chocolat is the incredibly soft and moist chocolate fudge crinkles that act as the buns for the strawberry mouse. This unique dessert is definitely something that I wouldn’t have been able to try so thanks, Sugar Babies Desserts! What a treat!
Chocolat de la Mer tasted as good as it looked! The salted caramel center worked well with the sweet and rich taste of the chocolate brownie. The caramel in the center was also great to chew on and was kind of addictive so, take it as a word of caution.
For yogurt lovers, the Mon Cheri Citron will easily work its way to your hearts. Topped with compote of mixed berries , even a non- yogurt eater, such as myself, wouldn’t be able to resist!
The Costra Dulce is something that’s very hard not to like. It’s what most people’s fantasy dessert probably looks like. Inside the chocolate chip cookie tart shell is a combination of dulce de leche and banana custard mouse sealed with Nutella ganache. I was able to taste the sweetness of the banana which was unlike the kind that the chocolate ganache and dulce de leche had but it was pleasant nonetheless.
And my sister’s favorite, the Pistacia Oro was made with pistachio shortbread, riddled with chunks of pistachio and pineapple and flourished with rich custard. I must say, my sister was right; this couture dessert was simply splendid.
I was torn between this and the Pistacia Oro but the La Maria Francesca won me over, with its decadent combination of chocolate cheesecake and mango mouse. The many layers (as seen clearly in the picture) of this scrumptious dessert worked together perfectly, creating a unique dessert experience that your taste buds will thank you for.
