Aside from Nelson Cruz, Styluxe has lead & senior stylists for both men and women to take care of your hair and give you the best styles possible. Prices range from Php 750 – Php 1,200. Getting styled here is literally more than having a pleasant afternoon tea. You get served with only the finest—TWG tea, freshly brewed coffee by the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf company, and some gourmet cookies on the side.
This is probably the only salon in the country that will also serve you wine and cheese (for group packages). This just set the peg for an afternoon of pampering for me. If you’re setting aside time for yourself, might as well do it with style–because you deserve it.
So to give all this awesomeness a try, I went for a cut, color, and treatment for my layered, dry, spongy hair that was badly in need of a revival. Ms. Riza Balla, the head colorist, offered a hair technique that would retouch and give subtle dimensions to my hair. I’ve recently been on bleach, ombre, and hair jobs that left my hair a colored mess, so I wanted to go back to something clean and simple but still with character.
Style hair techniques include the following: New growth, Tint, Halo, Full & Partial Dimensional Color, Oil Based Color, Laminate, Prelighten, Luxe Color, and Strengthening On-Color. (Price range : Php 2,240 – 10,640)
After that, one of the latest treatments, Milbon from Japan, was applied on my hair to enhance texture and shine, leaving every strand feeling silky-smooth and soft. Unlike other treatments that take hours, this took just 20 minutes. You also get a take-home product to maintain the smoothness in the following weeks, even at home.
I was very satisfied with the results even after a few weeks and washes.
Other hair technique treatments are: Color Balance, Hair Therapy, Hair Restore, Strengthening (Php 1,680 – Php 5.040 depending on hair length), and Hair Technique Forms: Digital Wave, Perm, Hair Retexturing, Smoothening Mild, Smoothening Intense (Php 3,360 – Php 10,080).
