Students To Walk Out Of Class Tomorrow As Protest “For Education And Justice”

University students from all over the metro are all geared up to walk out of class tomorrow as a sign of protest and collective action in what they call as “Day of Rage for Education, Justice and Change”.

Students from universities such as the University of the Philippines, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, De La Salle University, University of the East, Philippine Normal University, and National Teachers College are reportedly participating in the protest, according to the Philippine Online Chronicles.

Various collective groups such as Youth Act Now, Rise for Education, and Bagong Alyansang Makabayan announced the campus walkouts as they protest the impending tuition hikes as well as the handling of the Mamasapano operations by the Aquino administration.
