Internationally known for her work as a social entrepreneur, Jane Leu is one of the world’s leading figures when it comes to tackling the challenges associated with, global migration, skilled immigrant workers and the role of the workforce within societies. While she lives in San Francisco, California, her work expands throughout the United States and extends to various countries throughout the globe.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tufts University and Master’s Degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, Ms.Leu went on to become a social entrepreneur where her work gained recognition when she became an Ashoka fellow, a presitgious title she obtained through a highly selective process under Ashoka, the world’s largest network of social entrepreneurs. Ms.Leu has worked with the founding team of various organizations, a few of which include RefugeeWorks, seven Welfare-to-Work programs and the Hauser Research Center for Non-Profit Organizations at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

Ms.Leu is the founder and CEO of Smarter Good, “a new global social enterprise”, based in the US. Smarter Good partners with different NGOs and social sector organizations, primarily organizations based in the U.S., by providing them with administrative and program management services which include research and writing grant proposals.

It is thanks to organizations like Upwardly Global and social innovators like Jane Leu that social issues are continuously being assessed and transformed, thereby nurturing societies and allowing them to positively grow and develop.
