Spiral
Spiral is going to prepare the hottest recipes for romance by turning its 21 dining ateliers into a home for 21 magical spices: including saffron, ginger, basil, ginseng, ras el hanout, cinnamon, vanilla, pink pepper, galangal, cayenne pepper, nutmeg, thyme, curry, coriander, turmeric, mustard seed, star anise, cardamom, shichimi, paprika, and chili.
The use of spices to enhance romance is not new: Cleopatra was known to have used saffron as an aphrodisiac. In Europe in the Middle Ages, it was believed that cumin represented love and fidelity. Ginger has been to increase the heart rate. In Italy, locals use basil as it is known to stimulate libido and fertility.
Spiral is preparing 21 special recipes for Valentine’s, such as saffron bouillabaisse, ras el hanout couscous, drunken prawns with ginger, spicy fried squid, grilled scallops in coriander sauce, red curry beef with cardamon and cinnamon, and ginseng-infused dishes.
For dessert, Spiral’s Chocolaterie and Creamery will feature sumptuous desserts like pink peppercorn lava cake, strawberry ginger cheesecake, mango Jamaican pepper mousse, the French Kiss praline with black pepper, and the Ruby praline with star anise.

Le Bar
Le Bar will celebrate Valentine’s with a bittersweet menu inspired by the poem of Loui Aragon from the book The Unfinished Novel. A lavish menu of lobster carpaccio, foie gras, slow-cooked lamb, red mullet, and rhubarb-rosemary ice cream will be prepared for two, with a song dedication from the bar’s resident singer.
Sweet Treats
Get your loved one a sweet treat: choose between a personalized Galette Sweet Cake of Love crafted by master artisans, or a personalized Spiral 2 Go hamper filled with treats from the Spicy Pralines selection, which includes pralines infused with star anise, black pepper, and cinnamon. You may also get the limited-edition edition chocolate teddy bear with a praline heart, or a pair of Ruby high heels made of chocolate.
Sunset Bar
Enjoy a gastronomic treat with a stunning view of Manila Bay for Love by the Bay. Dine on barbecued specialities with unlimited local beers and iced tea or a glass of sparkling wine. Cap off the day with fireworks display for the couples. Love by the Bay will be on February 10, 11, and 14.
