Each shirt from The Slay Shirt is hand-embroidered and 100% locally produced here in the Philippines; and for every purchase, a smiley shirt is donated to a homeless or less fortunate child.
As you can see, the shirts are incredibly adorable and since the design is quite simple, it’s pretty easy to match them with any other items you might find in your closet. I didn’t get to plan anything for my own getaway and thought I could use that free time for some introspection. We were approaching the end of the year by then, so I decided to check up on my yearly “bucket list”. The only things left were an outreach activity and clothing production. That’s when I realized I could actually hit two birds with one stone. What started out as a “passion project” that speaks for anyone with “a happy heart and a helping hand” is now growing as a brand that aims to make as much positive impact as possible.”
