Catch some waves of creativity with this Art Exhibit, entitled ‘SILAYAG,’ organized by Seven Juanders. The venue will be at the Nova Art Gallery, La Fuerza Plaza II, 2241 Chino Roces Ave, Makati City on September 68, 2017. This event is free admission.

SILAKBO is a Filipino term meaning “emotional outburst,” while LAYAG means “sail.” Combining these two words, forms ‘SILAYAG,’ hence the exhibit name.

The project is about how the artists’ minds sail with creativity through ordinary experiences like commuting, riding in traffic, waiting in line etc. With the surge of emotions through a simple thought from a wandering mind, even the most boring scenarios can bring about the most exciting ideas.

Seven Juanders is a group of seven young artists from Asia Pacific College who shares the same wit, curiosity and disposition. Their eccentric minds drove them to create an exhibit wherein they sail to the farthest reaches of their imagination.

See life differently, and join them on September 6 (6 p.m– 11 p.m) for their opening night and September 7 – 8 (11 a.m–  8 p.m).
