When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, and share them with frontliners!
That’s exactly what Chemistea Milk Tea + Cafe did. This milk tea shop, which is located in Quezon City and Paranaque, donated drinks to frontliners. And in that spirit, their customers have followed suit.

For every minimum spend of Php300, Chemistea pledged to match their customers’ purchases with contributions in the form of Berry Lemonade. These drinks are made up of freshly blended and squeezed fruits— perfect for boosting people’s immune systems with some much-needed Vitamin C. Not only does this help those who are often exposed to the virus, but it’s also a sweet pick-me-up drink that can cheer them up.

Aside from helping doctors and healthcare workers, Chemistea was also able to help riders earn during quarantine. On day one alone, the brand enlisted the help of these displaced workers to send out both orders and donations.

As for customers who did not reach the minimum amount, they helped out by donating their change instead. Others even helped promote the store and spread the word in order to get more people to help their cause.
Thanks to the collective support of its customers, capable staff, and riders; Chemistea was able to give around 300 cups to frontliners in Veterans Memorial Hospital and San Lazaro Hospital in only two weeks. Conversely, the military, police, and barangay offices also received this generous donation from the brand.
Customers who did not reach the minimum amount gave extra cash to contribute to the fight. Some refused to take their change and included it as a contribution to the effort instead. There were even those who promoted the store to help spread the word so that more people could join the effort while satisfying their cravings. Now isn’t that a great way to help out?
