Shane Filan You & Me Live in Manila
Despite yesterday’s flash floods, heavy rain pour and bumper to bumper Manila traffic, Westlife and Shane Filan fans still eagerly flocked the World Trade Center to watch the much awaited Shane Filan’s  “You & Me”  first major solo concert here in Manila to promote his debut album!
My mom’s a big Westlife fan, so I made sure she didn’t miss this concert. The whole show was of course a dream come true for every Westlife fan as Shane performed unforgettable Westlife hits as well as catchy singles from his new solo album, “You & Me.”
Anyways, for those of you who weren’t able to be there last night, here are some of the highlights…

After playing the last song, of course the crowed clamored, “WE WANT MORE!!!”  so Shane and his band went up again and did a few more songs!

As mentioned earlier, the whole show was indeed every Westlife fan’s dream come true. I remember everyone sang along with Shane the whole time. Perhaps the reason why Shane picked Manila to be his last stop in his world tour, is because he knows how Filipinos love him and Westlife very much! Based on the warm welcome given to Shane Filan last night by his Filipino fans, I really would have to agree that Westlife has secured a special place within each Filipino’s heart.
Before the show ended, I remember Shane mentioned that he’ll be back again next year to promote his new album! So if you missed last night’s concert, worry not, as Shane will once again grace our stages next year!
