Sentro 1771 at Capitol Commons Takes Family Dining to a Whole New Level

Filipino Family Dining takes families closer and Sentro 1771 at Capitol Commons takes this kind of dining to a whole new level.

Capitol Commons has been the go-to place for yuppies, business class and families and just last month, Sentro 1771 joined this booming restaurant area, so that residents of Mandaluyong, Pasig and Quezon City wouldn’t have to drive all the way to Makati or Fort just to visit Sentro.

According to Ricky Gutierrez, Founder and CEO of 1771 Group of Restaurants, the newly-opened restaurant will be the benchmark for all of the Sentro restaurants. Sentro 1771 at Capitol Commons offers creative Filipino food with a high level of service and with an ambiance of the Commonwealth Period.

The interiors of Sentro in Capitol Commons are very bright and inviting. The first floor can seat up to 60 people and the second level can sit up to 80 people. It can be rented for private functions and meetings, as well. There are also a number of tables outside for guests who smoke or simply want to bask in the sunlight or moonlight.

As I was chatting with Chef Vicky, I told her that the place is so warm that it can almost be pegged as a family dining place. I also noticed that Sentro has fast turnovers. Most customers in the inside dining area are the sort of people who like to ‘dine and dash’ while the ones outside are the customers who are more likely to stay for some drinks.
