Lea Salonga may soon not be the only celebrity judge on The Voice Philippines to be a Disney Princess. News broke out that Disney tapped Sarah Geronimo to reinterpret “The Glow,” a song sung by Shannon Saunders and written for the Disney Princesses franchise to introduce Tangled‘s Rapunzel as the 10th princess.

A teaser was aired on Disney Channel, where Sarah sang a sample of her recording and encouraged viewers to watch the premiere on December 6 at 9AM.

Earlier this year, Sarah scored another victory as she won Best Southeast Asian Act at the 2014 MTV European Music Awards, beating other contestants from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The announcement that Sarah will perform “The Glow” follows a recent report that Kim Chiu will play the role of Mulan in a project. Disney has not confirmed it yet, but rumor has it she will be part of a Disney calendar in 2015.
