Becarios De Santo Tomas, the Sole Thomasian Scholars Association, in partnership with the UST Central Student Council, Student Organizations Coordinating Council, Thomasian Film Society, Tomasian Cable Television, Tomasinoweb, and The Varsitarian invites you to its annual short film festival entitled “Sampung Sulyap,” with the theme “Sampung Tomasino, Sampung Natatanging Kuwento ng Pagbabago” from:
- May 8 and 10: Rooms 401 and 403, Tan Yan Kee Student Center, UST Manila
- May 9: TARC Auditorium, UST Manila
- May 11 and 12: UST CME Auditorium, UST Manila
Sampung Sulyap is a five-day film showing aiming to inspire showcase exceptional Thomasian artistry in filmmaking and production. It also aims to inspire people from all walks of life with the various stories of change of featured Thomasians, maximizing the use of film as a medium to convey the message of change, which is to become the better versions of ourselves.
To recognize the achievements, and the exemplary artistry showcased in the 10-minute films, the Sampung Sulyap Film Awards Night shall happen after a week-long of film showing at the Thomas Aquinas Research Complex, University of Santo Tomas, Manila.
Film showing shall happen at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. Admission is free.
