Sam Smith’s “One Last Song” is the Perfect Breakup Song

Sam Smith One Last Song

We all know Sam Smith as a terrific songwriter who can write painfully beautiful songs like “Stay With Me.” After a two year absence, the singer is back with his album The Thrill of It All, which has his second single “One Last Song.” And it’s the perfect breakup song.

Watch the music video below:

In the song, Smith sings, “Maybe one day I won’t sing about you, I’ll sing a song about someone new. But right here, right now, you are on my mind and I think about you all the time.”

Smith released his debut album In the Lonely Hour in 2014, which had the singles “Money on My Mind,” “Stay With Me,” “I’m Not the Only One,” “Like I Can,” and ”Lay Me Down.” The following year, he won four out of his six Grammy nominations.

In 2015, he sang “Writing’s on the Wall,” which was the theme song of the James Bond film Spectre. The song won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
