Yup, the go-to hub for celebrating the art of spoken poetry owned by journalist Howie Severino and lawyer Ipat Luna is officially history—like the tales of love and loss told to its packed crowds. The building will be taken down due to the installation of a septic pump (for a place like Sev’s, isn’t that anticlimactic?). Intellectuals just lost one of their favorite dimly-lit dwelling places…just for now, hopefully. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
