Just a few days after Robin Padilla announced his backing out of his project with Maria Ozawa, the action star announced that his wife, Mariel Rodriguez, suffered a miscarriage with the triplets.
Robin announced this via a video posted on his offical Facebook fan page and Youtube account, which shows the couple finding out about the miscarriage while Mariel was having an ultrasound performed on her.
The caption on Facebook was entitled: “We are praying for the couple’s recovery”.

A local report cites that the MFT Group, executive producers for “Nilalang”, his supposed project with Maria Ozawa, says that they will respect whatever decision Robin makes, but they are hopeful that he will reconsider returning to the project after being given some time to grieve.
