UP JPIA Week 57 is a week-long celebration of UP Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants’ ideals, culture, and achievements. The following events during the week are:
- Gallery launches the UP JPIA Week. It is a weeklong display at the Virata School of Business, highlighting what the organization is, its members, and its hard-earned achievements over the years.
- Committee Battle brings out the best in each of the individual members of the 6 committees of the UP JPIA featuring different mini-challenges that the members would be participating in.
- Grand Pakain is a food fest offered to the members of the UP Community as a part of the celebration of the organization’s 57 years of excellence.
- Week 57 Culmination Overnight
- Thanksgiving Mass
Big Event
Big Event on April 29 is the most awaited part of the UP JPIA Week. It is where the organization showcases its excellence to college students within and beyond the university. Music, dance performances and fair booths have colored the Big Event over the years. For its celebration of its 57th year of excellence, the UP JPIA will be an avenue for poets to do spoken poetry performances, garnished with acoustic performances in one night. This event will serve as a culminating activity of the Too Much Information campaign.
The Campaign: Too Much Information #TMI
UP JPIA’s #TMI Campaign aims to promote and emphasize the importance of transparency among the student body through its various initiatives. This year, the campaign will be taking another step forward as it looks to instill the value of transparency on a deeper level through promotional executions highlighting the audience’s personal experiences and how the need for transparency fits into their daily lives.
