REMINDER: Report Taxi Drivers Who Refuse P10 Rollback; First Offenders Fined P5,000

REMINDER Report Taxi Drivers Who Refuse P10 Rollback; First Offenders Fined P5,000

Earlier this month, the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) announced that starting March 19, the taxi flagdown rates nationwide would be P30. In addition, the adjusted rates include airport taxis, which will have an initial rate of P60 from the previous P70 flagdown rate.

We would like to remind everyone that you can report taxi drivers who refuse to accept the P10 rollback and still charge you P40 for the flagdown. LTFRB announced last year that offenders will be fined P5,000, even if it’s their first offense.

You may report taxi drivers who refuse to acknowledge the P10 rollback via 426-2515 or 09214487777.
