When In Manila, grab some Buffalo Wings, take the kids with you and head over to Red Buffalo. Situated close to St. Paul University Quezon City in Greenhills Town Center, Red Buffalo offers New York classics like Buffalo Wings and Pizza that kids would love. Yours truly was tagged along with co-writers Jo and Mark Tan with their nephews and nieces to this hidden gem in the Metro. The atmosphere at Red Buffalo is light and casual, perfect for an afternoon merienda or early dinner.

First up was the Red Buffalo Wings where we had the choice between Pamesan Garlic and Original Hot Buffalo Flavor. The kins loved the Parmesan Garlic for its slightly sweet and slightly salty taste. In fact, I would not have tasted one if I was not saved a piece. I love the Original Hot Buffalo Flavor which the adults will like for its characteristic spiciness, just slight but enough to make you water for more. I lives up to its “original” tag and I will go back here often for a taste of this one next time.

Since Red Buffalo has the best Buffalo Wings in town, they have three other selections too. Aside from Parmesan Garlic and Original Buffalo Wings, they have Teriyaki Buffalo Wings, Sweet Heat BBQ Buffalo Wings and Honey Bourbon Buffalo Wings. Interesting flavors, isn’t it? I’d definitely try out these three selections when I go back very soon at Red Buffalo.
Refreshing juices and Onion Rings go well with Red Buffalo Wings
Why not partner it up with Onion Rings? The onion rings are thick and crunchy, slightly sweet, which left the kids wanting more. Gulp down your favorites eats with good juices like premium lemonade, kiwi lemonade, strawberry lemonade and house blend iced tea.

Red Buffalo’s Pizza selections are worth the try too, another house specialty. Their pizzas are out of the ordinary too, unique concoction of flavors. Check out the Cheese and Steak Pizza with steak strips and mushrooms strewn with white onions and bell peppers, drowned literally in cheddar cheese, good for kids. Red Buffalo RB’s Special Pizza was an all meat treat with pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, ground beef, black olives, mushrooms, bell peppers and white onions. This one I loved so much, with spicy sauce. The pizza selections are all thin-crusted so you can taste much of the ingredients there.

Red Buffalo does not only serve buffalo wings but also other selections like pasta. Spaghetti and Meatballs, served saucy with marinara sauce and very big meatballs made homestyle. The spaghetti was filling with meatballs. Chicken Alfredo was more refreshing with chicken and basil in an alfredo sauce very creamy. I finished my portion of this pasta quite satisfied.

All-American Cheeseburger from Red Buffalo
Red Buffalo serves Garden Salad as well. It is a ceasar-dressing based salad with Romaine lettuce, carrots, onions, tomatoes, black olives, eggs and ham, simple but taste refreshing. Try their All-American Burger too with a thick quarter pound burger patty, cheddar cheese, onions, tomatoes, pickles and Romaine lettuce. More choices more fun for us.
The Red Buffalo Grand Finale: Hickory Baby Back Ribs
Just as we thought that was it, the Hickory Baby Back Ribs arrived! It was so good and falls of the bone, tender and juicy! With coleslaw and fries on the side, I would want to go back to Red Buffalo just for this one. I think they should serve more varieties of this one since they did it well. It was meat but was not as heavy as I thought, a good way to cap one’s meal for the day.
Red Buffalo’s Chocolate and Strawberry Milkshake
Don’t you find the kids cute? For being patient and well-behaved, they have milkshakes to push everything down. The kid in us adults too enjoyed some milkshake. They have a number in their menu but we were given a taste of chocolate and strawberry milkshakes. Red Buffalo lives up to the aura of a place for every food-loving family to spend their afternoons and evenings here.
